Oh I loved Simon Schama's History of Britain a few years ago. I hope they'll put this new series on DVD. Though his voice tends to lull me to sleep.
I was throwing together some pasta the other night and added an ingredient I've never used before and I liked it.
Apples.
I sauteed chicken, mixed that with pasta, diced apple with skin still on (1" size), fresh sage, and light vinagrette.
Very good.
