Tomorrow (October 11) is something called Coming Out Day. I happens every year. That means every year we have to come out again.
Okay people. I am lesbian. I lived a heterosexual life until I was 39 years old. I was married to a man. I bore two (wonderful) children (in the traditional way).
When my marriage ended I ended up in a women's spirituality group where many of the women were lesbian. For the first time I considered whether I might be gay. It was a two year process. I considered how my life would change.
I came out.
I've never looked back.
